Questions before a care plan
Peptide is a description, not an answer.
An offer can sound specific while leaving out the medicine’s name. Pin down what is proposed and why.
A peptide is a small chain assembled from the same building pieces as proteins. Insulin belongs to this group.
Separate the word from the product.
Medicine status here is dated September 26, 2026.
A label saying “peptide” cannot settle a product’s legal position or its safety.
Some peptide products have FDA (the Food and Drug Administration) approval. A pharmacy-made medicine is a compounded preparation. The FDA has not reviewed that preparation before it reaches the market.
“Peptide therapy” is too broad to be the end of the answer. Get the exact name in writing. Ask what problem the clinician is trying to address.
